Northeast (Webutuck) Central School District: Attendance

  • Research shows that daily school attendance positively impacts students' social, emotional, and cognitive development. Students who attend school consistently are more likely to graduate from high school, setting them up for a strong future. When students improve their attendance rates, they improve their academic prospects and chances for graduating.

Students spend 51% of the calendar year in school, which gives students 179 non-school days a year with their families. Use the non-school days to go on visits, vacations and other appointments.

If your child is absent please send an email to attendance@webutuck.org, call the school office, or call the school nurse.

Every Student Present and AttendanceWorks show how schools and families support good attendance.
