• Global History and Geography 2 is the second course in a 2 year study of world history. In this class we will continue building on skills from Global History and Geography 2, including enduring issues and themes. The focus of Global 2 is to prepare for the New York State Regents exam in June. We will focus on essay writing skills, recognition of enduring issues and themes within the course content and Regents preparation. The content is condensed into the last 500 years of history, starting with isolation, the Enlightenment, the French Revolution, the Industrial Revolution, unification in Europe, the rise of nationalism, the world wars, the Cold War and the modern era.
