​Welcome to Math 8, Financial Math, Bridges, and STEAM classes!♥  

This year's math learning will use a combination of paper and pencil along with Chromebook technology.  I love technology, but I also believe much of math is better understood when a pencil and eraser are involved.  We will definitely combine the best of technology with old-school pencils this year.

I am certified to teach in several areas, including math (grades 7-12), general subjects (grades K - 6), and special education (all grades).  I am a NYS Master Teacher -- http://www.suny.edu/masterteacher/about/ for more info about the Master Teacher program. Over the last several years, I have assisted in the development of several NY state teachers’ exams for teacher certification and hosted a few college student observers and student teachers.

I live locally with my husband, Bob, and my son, Melvin.  Outside of school, I enjoy skiing, gardening, camping, reading, and crafts.
