• Students taking DCC Calculus (MAT 221) and/or DCC - Statistics (MAT 118) will not need to purchase a calculator for use in the classroom. If a calculator has been purchased, students are free to use it in class and on assignments. As a DCC class there will be an emphasis on the use of other technology in addition to a specific model of graphing calculators.

    Students taking Pre-Calculus are recommended to purchase a graphing calculator for use in class, on assignments, and to be used in other subjects. While class sets are available it would be ideal if each student had their own to use when not in class. I find Texas Instruments makes the most user friendly models.
