I have been a teacher in the Webutuck School District for 29 years.  I am a strong believer in teaching the whole child.  I support my students in their social/emotional growth as well as give them academic challenges to move them forward at their individual levels. My philosophy is based on child centered learning.  I want children to become leaders and active participants in classroom projects that represent their learning in class.  I encourage independence and build confidence in all children to showcase their strengths and share their ideas at all levels of learning.

He sido maestra en el Distrito Escolar de Webutuck durante 29 años. Creo firmemente en enseñar al niño en su totalidad. Apoyo a mis alumnos en su crecimiento social/emocional y les doy desafíos académicos para que avancen en sus niveles individuales. Mi filosofía se basa en el aprendizaje centrado en el niño. Quiero que los niños se conviertan en líderes y participantes activos en proyectos de aula que representen su aprendizaje en clase. Fomento la independencia y construyo confianza en todos los niños para mostrar sus fortalezas y compartir sus ideas en todos los niveles de aprendizaje.
