Scholarship
Announcement to the
Graduates
of the Class of 2007
The Class of 2006 established a scholarship in the
amount of $550.00 that will be awarded to a graduate of the Webutuck Class of
2007. This award will be given to a
graduating member of the Class of 2007 who is planning to attend either a two
or four year college. The recipient of
this award must be a graduate who has made a contribution to the community, who
has exhibited leadership qualities throughout his or her high school career at
Webutuck, and who is in need of financial assistance.
In order to apply, please write an essay in which
you describe how you have made a contribution to your community, situations
over the past four years which exemplify your leadership skills, your career goals,
and how this scholarship could help you meet the projected costs for your first
year of college.
The Webutuck High School Scholarship Committee will
determine the recipient of this scholarship based on your essay and your need
for financial assistance.
