EXTRACURRICULAR ACADEMIC ELIGIBILITY POLICY

Students have access to the full range of activities offered by the Webutuck Central School to help them to learn more about their interests and abilities and to enable them to establish balance in their lives. Students are expected to strive for excellence in all the courses they are studying and to attain, at the minimum, a passing grade in each. Students are eligible to participate in extracurricular activities as long as they can clearly demonstrate that they are making reasonable progress to successfully meet their academic responsibilities.

In order to be eligible a student must demonstrate appropriate behavior including good attendance.

The Superintendent shall annually provide the regulation that specifically describes the eligibility criteria.
