November        Administrative Council Meeting – discuss teacher budget input process / forum

 

December 8     Finance Committee –Discusses and formulate budget parameters

           

December        Administrative Council Meeting - Business Office distributes budget request forms

 

January            Public Budget Workshop

January 5         BOE Work Session -- Finance Committee reports on its December discussion of budget parameters to the Board of Education.

                                   Business Office receives BOE feedback

 

January            Administrative Council Meeting - Review budget parameters & implications for BI proposals

 

January 21       BOCES Initial Services Request due back in Business Office from Budget Initiators

                        (For submission to BOCES by February 1)

 

January 30       Budget request forms due back in Business Office

                        BIs submit Building Budgets, requests for staff positions, new programs, equipment

                       

February          Administrative Council Meeting – Admin. Team assists Superintendent in identifying priorities

                       

March 2           (BOE Work Session) Superintendent submits Preliminary Budget Report to the BOE

 

March 9           Finance Committee Meeting – review Superintendent Budget components / assumptions

April 20           Deadline for submission of petitions for propositions to be placed on ballot

May 7              Six-day Budget Notice mailed to all qualified voters of the district

Fourth Legal Notice

 

May 12            Last day to receive applications for absentee ballots to be mailed out
