Mid-Hudson Teacher Center Mini-Grant.

Mission

The Mid-Hudson Teacher Center awards up to $900 for creative uses of technolgy in the classroom.The Mid-Hudson Teacher Mini-Grant Program is designed to provide an opportunity and learning experience for educators within the MHTC consortium. The program's goal is to encourage innovative' collaborative, and creative classroom projects that support current state and national initiatives, research and high learning standards.

 

Introduction

The Mid-Hudson Teacher Center is offering THREE categories of mini-grants for 2004-2005. They are:

 

  1. Regular Mini-Grant: A grant for one or more teachers/educators to design, develop, and implement a project that supports innovative, creative classroom work that is based upon current research and aligned with NYS learning standards, and has the potential for positive impact on students.
  2. Continuation Mini-Grant: A grant that is a continuation of a previously funded, successful MHTC project.
  3. Catherine Romano Mini-Grant to Support Student Writing: This tribute to the life ant work of Catherine Romano provides a mini-grant to a project which promotes the development of writing by students.
