Just a quick note to let you know that the Lifelines Website has added a NEW section featuring a large collection of primary source documents including such things as historical letters, reports, records, advertising images, cartoons and more. The section includes a brief explanation of what such documents are and why they are important, as well as a few very informative resources for teachers interested in working with primary source documents in the social studies classroom. You can access the new addition by going through the Lifelines 5-12 section, or you can use the url http://midhudson.org/lifelines/lifelines2/soc-primary-documents.html. I hope you find this new section helpful!
