Pennies for Patients

During the month of February, Webutuck Jr./Sr. High School will be participating in  Pennies for Patients to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS).
Pennies for Patients is a community service project that helps teach students personal achievement, teamwork, and demonstrates the importance of helping someone else.
There is a kick-off assembly on February 3rd and the campaign runs from February 4th - February 26th.
Our students will be competing in Penny Wars. Each first period class will have 2 containers.  Pennies will count as positives and silver and paper money will count as negatives.  Competing classrooms sabotage their classmates containers by loading as many silver coins as they can to make a negative count.  The classroom with the most money will win either a breakfast or pizza party!

Please contact Kristen Chadwick in the Guidance Office with any questions.
Thank you in advance for your support!
